School Uniform & Dress Policy


Please see our school uniform below.

Uniform

  • Black trousers, skirt or pinafore

  • Navy round neck sweatshirt or cardigan (with or without school logo. If you would like the school logo, you can only purchase these from the school office)

  • Blue and white checked dress (summer term only)

  • White polo shirt (with or without school logo. If you would like the school logo, you can only purchase these from the school office)

  • Black or white socks
  • Black tights

  • Black shoes, low heels, not boots or trainers

 

PE Uniform

  • White T-Shirt

  • Black shorts

  • Pumps

  • Trainers can be worn for sport outside

All the above should be kept in a small school  labelled with child’s name.

 

Labelling

All uniform and PE kit should be clearly labelled with child’s name and class.

 

Jewellery

No jewellery may be worn in school for health and safety reasons.  If parents wish their child to have their ears pierced this should be done in the Summer holidays, so earrings can be removed ready for the start of the school year.

Watches may be worn for school.

 

Hair

Long hair should be tied back, with plain bobbles which do not have added parts that may hang down.

Hair should be of one natural colour with no patterns shaved into it.

 

Staff Dress

All members of staff should dress smartly, professionally and appropriately for school, in order to act as role models for all pupils.  Denim should not be worn. 

Appropriate footwear should be worn in order to minimise any slips, trips or falls (no flimsy flip flops or sandals) 

Staff should dress appropriately for teaching P.E. they should wear trainers or pumps. Sporting clothes should only be worn whilst teaching such lessons, staff should change as needed.

All tattoos should be kept covered.
